Mathew Orzel is an award-winning filmmaker whose debut film, When Two Worlds Collide, premiered at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival and won the Special Jury Prize for Best Debut Feature. The film received international critical acclaim and went on to win over 24 international awards including a Cinema Eye Awards nomination. Soon after screening in independent cinemas in the U.S., U.K., Peru, Mexico and Germany, it was released Worldwide via Netflix, with actor Leonardo DiCaprio signing on as EP.
In 2020, Orzel co-founded Hairless Dog Films, focusing on long-form non-fiction & branded content. That same year he directed the campaign Committed To The Long Run and was awarded a Dolphin at the prestigious 2020 Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards.
